Venturing Oath
As a Venturer, I promise to help strengthen America, to be faithful in my religious duties, to help others, and to seek truth, fairness, and adventure in our world.
Venturing Code
As a Venturer, I believe that America's strength lies in our trust in God and in the courage, strength, and traditions of our people. I will, therefore, be faithful in my religious duties and will maintain a personal sense of honor in my own life. I will treasure my American heritage and will do all I can to preserve and enrich it. I will recognize the dignity and worth of all humanity and will use fair play and goodwill in my daily life. I will acquire the Venturing attitude that seeks the truth in all things and adventure on the frontiers of our changing world.

Venture Crew 100
Venture Crew 100 is chartered to the Wayne Township Parks and Recreation.
Our Purpose
To have Fun, while further increasing the skills of the crew. In the process of having fun, we will inspire others to follow.
Membership
Membership shall be open to all young adults of high school age who live in Wayne and have completed the eighth grade or are at least 14 years of age. No prospective member shall be disqualified because of race, color, creed, or sex. All members must be registered as Venturers and agree to the crew code and bylaws. Active members must attend at least one meeting, event, or trip in a three-month period.
Dues
Dues shall be $35 for one year. All members who do not pay dues when requested will be dropped from the crew roster. Dues go towards national registration fees, insurance fees, and crew expenses. Dues do not include uniforms, books, or other personal expenses.
Money-Earning Projects (a.k.a. Fundraising)
All money earning projects must be approved by a majority vote of crew members present at meeting. At the time of project approval, the crew officers will determine whether the proceeds will be used for the individual crew member or for the crew as a whole. The officers will set any participant requirements and penalties for non-participation of individual members for the fundraiser at this time.
Finance
All members will receive an account within the crew's account upon payment of initial dues. This account will be used to hold any individual fundraising, as determined by the crew officers, done during his/her time with the crew. These funds can be used towards crew activities or equipment. For the funds to be used for crew equipment, a majority vote of those present must be taken, and equal amounts will be taken from all members. The crew money as determined by crew officers from fundraising, can be only used when voted upon by majority present for activities or equipment. Crew money can be used in last minute decisions when voted upon by crew officers. All accounts will be monitored and reported by the Treasurer, and his/her financial advisor. The financial records must be brought to each meeting. In the case, that the Treasurer is unable to attend a meeting, he/she must pass them along to another officer or advisor. In the case a crew member leaves the crew, the funds of that member will be combined into the crew fund. If the crew member rejoins the crew, he/she will not receive those funds back.
Adult Association
The youth officers lead the crew. The officers and activity chairs work closely with adult Advisors and other adult leaders in a spirit of partnership. The adults serve in a "shadow" leader capacity.
Crew Officers
- The elected officers shall be the President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer.
- A member of the crew must nominate a member for office. The nomination must then be seconded, and the candidate must agree to serve. The candidate must then be put on the ballot.
- Elections for these offices will be held in the month of May, and will be overseen by the current secretary. All ballots shall be kept secret. In the event of a tie, a re-vote will be taken. Should the re-vote, result is another tie, the advisor will cast the deciding vote.
- The normal term of office is one year from date of induction.
- No officer can serve more than two successive terms in the same office.
- Any officer must attend at least 75% of the meetings.
- If an officer does not attend the required amount of time, or does not do his/her job, removal from office is possible. The other officers, along with one advisor must approve this removal.
- If an office is left before the May Elections, a temporary officer can be put in place. This officer would finish the term and then could be re-elected in May if he/she wanted to continue in the position. This temporary placement would require an election similar to the one given in May. This office however would not count towards the two successive terms in office.

- If the bylaws of the crew are broken, and the officers and an advisor determine the degree of infraction warrants the termination of a crew member, then that crew member's membership is immediately revoked.
Changes To Bylaws
All changes to Bylaws must be discussed between officers & advisors. They must then be brought to the crew's attention and receive majority vote of people present at meeting.
